Project requirements: Timber beams to form the appearance of a ‘golden crown’. Cost effective and ease of installation.
Lightweight balsa beams were used to negate the need for heavy structural work to be carried out prior to installation.
The chosen timber is blackbutt - colour modified to be a rich gold colour while retaining a natural timber grain characteristic.
The beams were cut to shape, printed all sides and joined using our exclusive joining system - up to lengths of sixteen meters for this project. Suspended using booker rod top fixed to the beams.
Our unique ‘jigsaw’ joining system is strong, easy and required only glue.
